For further details about your area please login.We are delighted to announce the formation of a new Area of the Jaguar Drivers’ Club to serve the interests of the Jaguar and Daimler community – to be known as Area 47 Anglesey & North Wales. Initially, the Area will hold meetings on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm and these will be social in nature and will develop in terms of content and activities as we go forward.
The location of the meetings will initially be in the Bangor/Menai Bridge area because we feel this is within reasonable travelling distance for members in the east, west and south of the region. This is also the confluence of several of the major roads that traverse the region. The first meeting will be held on Tuesday 21 January at 7:30pm in The Four Crosses Inn, Menai Bridge, LL59 5RP. We have chosen the excellent Four Crosses initially because it’s very close to Junction 8 of the A55. We will decide on future venues and activities once we get some feedback from our members. If your Jaguar is in hibernation, please come along in your ‘other’ vehicle – the main thing is to turn up and help us get this exciting new Area up and running.
Stephen Knight has agreed to take on the role of Area Representative/Chairman and a small committee has been formed to move the Area forward. Committee meetings will be held prior to the Area meeting so as not to impinge on the social intercourse of the group and general ‘under-bonnet’ staring, etc.
Several of the committee will also be present at Criccieth Cars and Coffee (in the car park opposite Dylan’s Restaurant – LL52 0HU) on Sunday 8 December at 11:00am to 1:00pm if you want to come and say hello. This is a great, informal event with an amazing variety of cars and, usually, a double-figure Jaguar/Daimler representation.
