The International E-Type Register of the Jaguar Drivers’ Club is, again, organising a Track Day on Monday 3rd. May 2021, at the Goodwood Circuit which will be open to all Jaguars and Replicar Register cars. All the Jaguar Clubs and Jaguar owners are invited to participate. Other marques of car will be accepted, space permitting.
The aim is to provide a track driving experience for as many Jaguar drivers as possible, but organisational and safety constraints limit the overall number of cars which can be accommodated on the track to 10 cars per session.
We will accept bookings for a maximum of sixty (60) cars for the track sessions. Entry is by advanced booking only. The cost will be £280.00 per car (including first driver) except if the application form and payment is received before 31st. December 2020 when the cost is £255.00 and £ 50.00 per additional driver. For those who wish to spectate, but not drive on the track, numbers are unrestricted and admission is free. Just turn up on the day. There will be an administration charge of £25 per person on the day for passengers wishing to accompany a driver. Instruction briefings will be given to all drivers by ARDs (Association of Racing Drivers) instructors.
Sign-on will commence at 07.30hrs. with compulsory briefings at 08.30hrs. Track sessions will start at 09.00hrs. All drivers must bring their current Driving Licence with them for inspection . There will be a lunch break from 13.00hrs to 14.00hrs and all track sessions will cease at 17.00hrs. For those booking early there will be a limited number of buffet lunches, free of charge. Other catering facilities will be available. Goodwood will be providing marshals and emergency services.
As is normal for all off-road activities, you are advised to check your insurance cover. The E Type Register and the Jaguar Drivers Club Ltd. do not offer an insurance scheme. Some insurers offer track day cover, but you are advised to check the policy very carefully. In the unlikely event and the worst happens and you are involved in an accident, it could be the situation that you are not covered unless the other driver involved is covered for track day driving. During the many years that the E Type Register has been organising the track day, there have been very few incidents and none in recent years. This is a fully marshalled track day and any breaches of the driving rules are dealt with immediately. Helmets are required (mandatory) for all participants and we recommend that you bring your own, although a small number will be available for hire on the day if required. Dogs are not allowed into Goodwood, with the exception of Guide Dogs. For this event all cars must be properly silenced, as for normal road use, and must not exceed a 98 decibel limit. This is a strict limit, and cars failing this test will not be allowed on the circuit and no refunds will be given. We feel sure it is possible to obtain a free noise test, in advance, at a circuit in your vicinity. It is recommended that open top cars be fitted with roll-over bars. No children will be permitted to be passengers.

This sheet of information is included in the instructions and forms part of the requirements for the track day. You will be signing the application form to agree that you understand the instructions.

You will receive an acknowledgement and receipt within seven days. We recommend that you apply as soon as possible, as bookings will be dealt with on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. You will also be saving £25.00 by booking before 31st. December 2020.
