This will be the major celebration in our 2022 calendar of events as we take over the Brooklands Museum for the whole of Sunday 15th May to celebrate the centenary of the company that became the Jaguar brand that we now know and love. It will be 100 years since William Lyons and William Walmsley began a business initially involved in building motorcycle sidecars – and the rest is history.
On the preceding Saturday 14 May for those who want to make a weekend of the event, we have arranged a tour around the local countryside to include a visit to a private car collection and garden that is just magnificent. Included during the visit is a light buffet lunch.
The tour will start and finish at the 4-star, Oatlands Park Hotel, Weybridge, which is one of the finest Hotels in Surrey.
On return to the hotel those that are staying at the hotel will register and retire to their rooms to prepare for the Gala Dinner at 7.00pm in the York Suite, where we will be served with a superb evening of social interaction and a delightful 3 course meal, followed by light entertainment from our special guests.
Due to the numbers involved we have also secured extra rooms at another local hotel, so some of our participants will be just down the road, but transport will be laid on to and from the Gala dinner. Rooms at the Oatlands Park Hotel will be allocated first come first served basis.
