The National Rally is a major fixture on the Australian Jaguar calendar. Hosted by a different club each year, 2024 was the turn of the Jaguar Car Club of Tasmania. My wife Ciana and I attended our first National Rally last year in South Australia, driving our 1958 3.4 Mk 1, known as ‘Nancy’. We had such a fantastic time, that we decided to do it again and since Ciana grew up in Tasmania, we thought we’d make a bit of a longer trip out of the event and see some of her old friends and haunts.
