X-TYPE AT AUCTION

We all know that the X-Type is one of today’s best-value modern classics, but sometimes a high-spec car comes to auction and proves an absolute steal… which might just be the case with this 2004 2.5-litre V6 Sport AWD. Going under the hammer at the July classic sale by WB & Sons (https:// wbandsons.com), this one-owner car with 90,000 miles under its wheels ended up selling for almost exactly its upper guide price at just £790. The car came with two keys, as well as the original service pack with 12 stamps showing.
