One of
the most
endearing
features
of air is that under
many circumstances
you can’t see it.
As a result, almost
anything involving aerodynamics will join
those other invisible subjects like heat,
electricity, sound and nuclear decay,
where facts are replaced by observations
that would be risible if the subject matter
could be seen and where critical thinking
seems to be outlawed.
