Excitement is growing as reports pour in of sightings of the new Jaguar EV, in the UK and abroad – some photos flooding Facebook show it in the snow! And why the excitement? Because a lot of doubters have been speculating that the roadgoing version of the radical Type 00 concept, unveiled last year, would never happen.

Here at Jaguar Driver, we’ve never doubted that the car existed and would go into production, but even we were not prepared to see one undergoing tests on the public roads quite so soon. Reports from those who have seen it – including our Modern S-Type Register Chairman, Gareth Jones, who followed one recently – agree on one thing… it looks ‘gigantic’. Another spotter described it more politely as ‘imposingly large’ but there’s no getting away from the fact that it’s BIG.
