After quite a few disappointing races, some oh-so-close situations, some non-finishes and a lot in between, Team Jaguar has finally had its weekend. Step up to the penultimate venue of the 2024-25 season in Berlin at the historic Tempelhof Airport on the outskirts of the city, utilising the 1.5-mile, 15-corner circuit layout. A number of layouts have been tried here since the circuit debuted, including running the second race in the opposite direction, but this one is new for this season.
Jaguar has good history here. Nick Cassidy was second last year and won the second race of the weekend in season nine when he was driving for the Jaguar customer team Envision. On that same race weekend back then, Mitch Evans won the first race for Jaguar, scoring a 1-2 finish for the team in what was, all in all, a good weekend. Hopes were high that this might be Jaguar’s weekend and that’s exactly what happened, each driver winning a race in a good boost to the team’s fortunes.
