Following our outing at the Three Sisters track, our 4-Hills heroes move on to what is a new venue for some, with three of us entered for the Barbon round. We arrived at the short, but tricky, track which sits in what is basically a pasture on a hillside, with a narrow, single-track road leading up to a house at the top of the hill. The site has no permanent facilities, with everything from toilets, timing huts, commentary and food outlet all brought in for the event. As this is a farmer’s field and usually home to cows or sheep, you had to be careful where you stepped!
