JDC Members will have the chance to sell their Jaguar or Daimlers via THE MARKET’s online auction at a significantly reduced cost.
Chairman Tony Merrygold explains: “In recognition of the JDC’s 70th-anniversary year and National Weekend celebrations, with the Sunday event at Brooklands, THE MARKET has agreed to provide its unique Concierge Service at half price, saving more than £400 to members of the JDC looking to auction their Jaguar or Daimler during the period around the weekend of 11-12 July.
“This is a great opportunity for both the Club and its members. Working with THE MARKET continues our strategy to strengthen our member benefits package, not just for our anniversary year but for years to come.”
The Concierge Service is unique and exclusive to THE MARKET – a premium auction process which includes: the car being carefully valeted on arrival; extensively and professionally photographed, with several hundred images; exceptional automotive copywriters producing the best descriptions in terms of honesty and engagement; plus comprehensive advertising to include the client database, relating to Jaguar and Daimler, as well as inclusion on eBay, motors.co, Facebook, X and Instagram.
Where requested, viewings for the car can also be facilitated and conducted by THE MARKET staff at their facility in Oxfordshire and, finally, once the car has been paid for, the staff will complete the paperwork and carry out the handover.
The Concierge Service is usually priced at £695 plus VAT, however, for cars entered and accepted as part of the 70th-anniversary sale, as a JDC member you will pay just £350 plus VAT, saving you more than £400. To ensure that only JDC members benefit from this discount, you will need to provide your membership number when entering your car for the auction.
Although this is an online auction, THE MARKET is keen to have a physical presence at the JDC celebrations, so a limited numbers of members will be able to bring their auction car to display at Brooklands on Sunday 12 July.
As a Club member and former Manager at Jaguar, Paul Hegarty will be the main contact at THE MARKET should members wish to discuss entering their Jaguar or Daimler for the auction.
