Early August 2026 Jaguar Drivers' Club Events

A Packed Calendar this August

There's plenty of events to get you and your Jaguar out and about this August. In terms of our own events, Area 47 - Anglesey & North Wales - have been invited to the RAF Valley Friends and Family Day on Friday 7th. This is a very auspicious event and will be the highlight of this Area's calendar.

The following day, the Club will be joining the JDHT at Jaguars at Oulton - Cheshire Cats on Saturday 8th celebrating Jaguar's racing successes with a blend of competitive on-track action, demonstrations and displays.

On Sunday 9th, Area 10 - Scotland South will be attending Culzean Autoclassica, held at Culzean Castle & Country Park. Organised by the Ayrshire Classics Car Club (ACCC), this event typically features over 100 classic and exotic vehicles displayed on the hard standing directly in front of the castle and throughout the country park.

Jaguar Silk Cut

The following weekend is Car Club Fest, held 14-16th August at Three Counties Showground in Malvern. This brand new event aims to be as much a family festival as a celebration of car culture. For historic vehicle owners, it offers something refreshingly different: a chance to enjoy your Jaguars within a wider enthusiast landscape, without losing the sense of club community that matters most. JDC won't be able to bring our van and gazebo to the event, but if you book using our Club Code the organisers will make sure we can all park together.

Then on Saturday 22nd, Area 62 - Yorkshire Coast - will be at the Allerthorpe Trophy 2026, held at Allerthorpe Golf & Country Park. Eric Uttley and Area 62 are joining this new event that features a mixture of classic and performance cars - categories which both encompass Jaguars.

Big Saloons

The end of the month sees our friends in Area 71 - Switzerland running the Big Saloons on Tour from Thursday 27th to Sunday 30th August. This is open to any members with a Mark VII, VIII or Mark IX and not just restricted to Swiss members as everyone is welcome - and we can guarantee the scenery and hospitality will be second to none.

Classic Motor Show at the NEC

Looking ahead to the NEC

Planning is already going great guns for our stand in Hall 1 at this November's Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show at the NEC, which runs from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th. We are curating two themes for the display - one to be announced next month and the other is the 30th Anniversary of the launch of the XK8 (X100). We are looking for two XK8s from our own members, so are looking for one that should be as early as possible. We are also making the point that classic Jaguar ownership doesn't have to be a very expensive hobby and would like an XK8 that could be described as 'affordable' If you can help please get in touch via enquiries@jaguardriver.co.uk

We have invited back previous trophy winners to showcase the very best of the best at Gaydon on Sunday 27th September. They will appear in the Collections Centre whilst our Club display and shop can be found in the usual spot alongside other car displays from the JDHT. Find out more here
