Jaguar has given us a first look at the interior of the new Type 01 ahead of its official launch in New York on 6th October 2026. The visuals look just as dramatic showing its minimal exterior, with a central spine running through the cabin creating four individual spaces. The driver has a low seating position that "cossets and inspires confidence" according to its creators. The slim dashboard features a state of the art infotainment system. The tones are inspired by travertine stone and artisan textiles with the newly evolved Jaguar leaper showcased in a brass trim.
Prestigious guests at Pebble Beach Concours were also treated to a closer look at the new prototype model featuring a distinctive new wrap. Type 01 was displayed alongside four of the brands iconic models including the three-time Le Mans-winning D-Type, XKD507, the roadgoing XKSS previously owned by Steve McQueen, a 381-mile 4.2lt E-Type, and a pair of XJ-Ss.
We had a fantastic time at Jaguars at Oulton Park, reconnecting with current members, and recruiting some new ones. Thanks to the JDHT and all involved in the organisation of the well-attended event. There was a diverse array of cars and great action on the track including the CSCC Jaguar Championship, the Mike Hawthorn Jaguar Challenge for pre-1961 classics, and a "Powered by Jaguar" race. We continue to celebrate our 70th year with a very special display at Jaguars at Gaydon, held Sunday 27th September at the British Motor Museum. For the first time we will display The JDC Champion Trophy Winners, a collection of previous Champion of Champions trophy recipients. Each car will have won either the Harold Mayer Endeavour, Champion of Champions or both trophies.
The cars will be displayed in Conference Room 1 within the British Motor Museum for your enjoyment and giving you the opportunity to see what these cars have done since their trophy success.
The returning trophy winners will replace the Champion of Champions competition for this year with its return in 2027. Find out more here
