New logos, random capital letters, vibrant colours and a concept advert have got everyone talking about Jaguar. But it was in the early hours of this morning that we finally got to see what the electric future of Jaguar will look like as Jaguar globally revealed its 'Design Vision Concept' at one of the world's premier art festivals, Miami Art Week.
The new GT’s design is defined by large, slatted rectangular grilles at both the front and rear. At the front, slim headlights are present, while the absence of traditional rear light clusters hints that the lighting may be integrated into the grille itself. Key design highlights include a long bonnet and a sleek, wraparound pillarless glasshouse that flows seamlessly into the curved roof.
Inside, the interior is strikingly minimalist, featuring a lozenge-shaped steering wheel and a nearly complete lack of physical controls. The driver and passenger seats are separated by a high centre console, adorned with gold metallic trim on its surface.
According to Jaguar: “This ethos can trace its roots back to 1935 and is built on embracing unexpected and original thinking and a brand character that commands attention through fearless creativity.”
