We are delighted to welcome three new Directors to the board to strengthen the team and its future plans - Chris Gorvin, Andrew Martin and Keith Vinten.
Retired automotive professional Chris worked at JLR, benchmarking Jaguars and Land Rovers against competitor products. Well known to the club scene, Chris enjoys owning modern Jaguars including an F-Type and F-Pace.
“While still wearing short trousers I learnt that Jaguar was the best car in the world,” says Andrew. His first Jaguar was a rare manual 4.2 engined MK 10, which brought him into the JDC circa 1989. He’s also an ambassador for the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust.
Meanwhile, Keith’s love affair with Jaguars began when he retired in 2012. During this time, he’s owned XKRs, XFR, XF, Modern S Type, X Type, F Type and currently an F-Pace SVR.

Please join us in welcoming these new members who have joined the JDC in the past month.
JDC Italia (Area 63) celebrated the JDC’s magnificent 70th anniversary in May with an event at a charming farmhouse in the heart of the Roman countryside. Inside a large, renovated barn, a lineup of Jaguars produced from 1948 to the present was displayed among bales of hay. There were also Daimlers on display, with models produced between 1930 and 1980. A large turnout of members, along with their families, raised a toast to this important anniversary of the oldest and most prestigious club dedicated to the British brand. Seventy candles were blown out amid joy and passion for these timeless and indestructible classic British vintage engines. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all at Brooklands for our National Weekend.
